Terms and Conditions

Booking Conditions:  We advise guests to keep for reference

Provisional bookings remain firm for 24hr. A payment of £100 deposit for cottages and the cost of the first night’s accommodation for bed & breakfast rooms.

The balance payment  for cottages is due 4 weeks prior of the arrival date. Non payment by the due date will be treated as cancellation.

B&B accommodation are deemed chargeable up to 14 days of the arrival date. Cancellation within the 14 days will be the full charge of the reservation,

CANCELLATION:  In the event of cancellation, please advise us immediately. We will make every attempt to re-let the property or B&B room and then return your payment. If we are unable to re-let all monies will be forfeited. We strongly advise holiday insurance cover for your peace of mind.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:

The cottages are available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. Departure time for cottages is 10.00am and 10.30am for the B&B rooms.

GUEST NUMBERS:

The number of people occupying a cottage  or B&B room must not exceed the number stated.

CLEANING, DAMAGE, BREAKAGES :

The cottages should be left clean and in the same good condition as found. Any breakages must be reported to the owners and we reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage/extra cleaning

PETS:

Small well behaved dogs  are most welcome in both Stable Cottage and The Garden Wing by arrangement.Please contact us for clarification if necessary.  Sorry, we do not accept pets in our B&B rooms. However, no pets should  be left alone in the cottages or allowed to foul the gardens. We ask guests to respect our wish  that pets are not allowed in bedrooms or on soft furnishings.

In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. fire damage, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.

The use of accommodation and gardens is entirely at the guests risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage.

PARKING: Parking for one car per unit is usually available in our private courtyard. The proprietors of the Old House do not accept any liability for any loss or damage to vehicles whilst on the site.

Access for those with special needs are limited as we are a very old property, Gr 2 listed so any changes to the property is restricted. Please call us for any information and we will do our best to meet your requirements if at all possible. Advanced notice is appreciated.
